BarBQ Lunch

Last friday... at about 12noon.. i smsed Erin... "where u going for lunch ah?"

she replied " we all having lunch at pyramid! come!"

therefore... Albert and I joined Erin n the others for lunch at Bar B-Q Plaza.

lets not care about the food pics la ok?

the moment i arrived... this fella say " come come sit here(patting the chair on his right).. i wanna sit with pOp"
so i went n sit there lo.. ahhaa actually not many choices of seats lah.. since the other empty seat was already taken by albert.

then slinky came.. sat nex to evie.. n we all continued eating n talking... n eating... n talking.... n eating... n talking...

again.. i felt lucky that day... haha (top right photo taken from kelli's blog)

actually coming to this place for lunch was Chung Lern's idea...

but he couldnt make it cos he has to work.. kesian

thats y we took a group shot using my phone n sent to him withthe message "wish u were here"

and he replied with another mms.

accompanied by "*muax" and an audio file "im bored!!!"

after eating we went out of the restaurant and posed with their macsot dino.

suddenly the dino bekam femes.. lol

Chics from PC Fair

It was my first time going to PC Fair to snap photos of the female promoters there..

it was my first time using my own dSLR in PC Fair...

it was also my first time PUTTING THE WRONG SETTINGS AND WHITE BALANCE FOR THESE PICS!!!!!!!! DAMN..

anyway... here r the chiqs. Chun or not... u judge. lol

I was there yesterday with baga and Jen.

Didnt buy anything tho.. cos my purpose there was just to snap some pics

The father came back from pc fair and hugged the child... mother was relieved after waiting for him for sometime.

So many ppl going in... so many ppl coming out.. hmm

Jen was a bit shy to be my 2 seconds model. lol

Was supposed to take a photo of the 2-way traffic.. n then this guy thought i was taking his photo? lol

Italiannies

The last time I went to 1utama... i met up with my aunt and my cousin.

we went for dinner at Italiannies... an italian restaurant.

In this menu.. we have things like...

This one i like.. ahah prolly cos i like chicken :P

I didnt taste anything extraordinary about this pasta. ok next!

the damn big meatball rox!!!!!!! the bigger the better.. lol like char siew pao

I love eggplants... some call it brinjals.. what about u? terung? :D

Testing the Alpha

Brought my alpha to the office yesterday to test out with albert.

It was also officially my first time using my own dSLR to take photos.. ahha so im still not very familiar with the settings n stuff yet.

Here we go.... my first batch of photos using the alpha A100.

Taken indoor under low light.

This is how effective the Super Steady Shot(built-in antishake) feature is. We can still capture a sharp image even with shutter speed of 1/5sec at 200mm.

Another random shot... but this one has a shorter exposure time.

My alpha

What happened to my Panazonic FZ5? ... wat else.. SOLD! haha

what now?

Let's welcome the arrival of my new baby, the Sony Alpha A-100 dSLR.

In my previous post about Sony alpha launch(scroll down to view it), I stated that there were 2 packages.

body + 18-70mm kit lens, or body + 18-70mm kit lens + 75-300mm zoom lens.

well, i didnt get any of them.

instead, I bought the body.. n i seperately bought a 18-200mm lens.

It's sort of like a combination of the kit lens n the zoom lens lah... so its more expensive.
