TechEd n WCG

Wassup people! Let's talk about.. IT related stuff today!

about a week ago, we attended a briefing on TechED in Microsoft office.

We volunteered to help out on the event so... have to go and let them brief us lo.

Rames, Ivan, Cherrie and Jen listening attentively... while I snap continuously.. kachak kachak kachak!

then after the briefing, we were grouped according to our stations... and Chun Wei was the leader of our team.

That's Chunwei.. sitting between Cherrie and Ivan.

then then then... erm... I left the gang and went to Midvalley.

Was wandering around the mall and then realised WCG(World Cyber Games) competiton was on!

So I took out my alpha and plugged my wide lens and snap away!

and while I was walking around in the hall... I met up with Logicyuan and Derek!

so we grabbed some cosplayers to pose with us in this group shot lol

so there you go.... 2 IT events that are totally not related to each other.

wowowow another week gone!

so long never post photos taken using my N95... so heres one.

For those who wanna buy N95, you can actually wait til end of the year when the Black N95 with 8GB memory is out.

Goodbye Singapore

this is the final post... about my 1 day trip to Singapore... sadness

anyways..

after walking around the malls on Orchard Rd., we went for dinner at NYDC... which was located right in front of Heeren.

Everyone was damn tired edi... so it was good that we could rest our feet before we leave.

We ordered these:

while eating.. someone patted my shoulder from the back.

It was Wilson.

This guy here... is my first Singapore friend that I knew from blogging since... like.. 4-5 years ago. ahaha

so after eating... we walked abit more and at about 9pm... we took cabs to the KTM station...

Shikin and Teddy were there too... they wanted to send us off... so nice kan?

and so.. we went on the train... and slept away.............. and when we woke up...

we were back in KL again. :)

Orchard Road Jump

still high after meeting Heroes...

teddy got his way thru and met me after the event ended.

first time meeting him tho... singapore blogger... eh? nono.. he is studying in singapore.. but actually from KL :d

and then i waited there for a while more cos i was waiting for Shikin to come over for a meet up. She met me the last time I went to SG... so this was our 2nd meetup.

I met Bobby too! A friend i knew since the Xfresh days... but the foto blur la.. so dowan show.

then we went to..

ORCHARD ROAD!

we couldnt be anymore siao... cos... i dont think anyone would do this...

squatting in one line... in the middle of orchard road...

didnt expect everyone to join me in squatting... thanks guys n gals lol

while we were at it... we might as well

do a group jump in front of the shopping malls.

people were all looking at us.. haha fun!

and then a proper one before we enter the malls.

Meeting Heroes Casts

FINALLY!!! THE POST THAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I MET THE CASTS FROM HEROES..........WOOT!

This is a video of us.. and everyone else.. waiting for their arrival.

and then..... they finally came.

Only 4 of them tho... Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg), Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy), Niki Sanders (Ali Larter) and Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka).

then Parkman jealous.. so he did the 300 thing... ahah of course he didnt... i made that up. :P

Mohinder and Niki was talking about some cardboards held by some fans.

a video of them talking on stage and pleasing the crowd. ahahah

i like them both! ahah Niki!!!!!!!!! Hiro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then some contest winners got called up on stage to have a group shot with the casts.

although i was standing right in front of the stage.. since I was a media...

I.... still... felt... jealous... cos I wanna be taking photos with them too...

hmmm

but guess what!! when they were coming down from the stage, I got the chance to take a picture with Mohinder Suresh!

Me: Mohinder! Mohinder! May I take a picture with you please???
Mohinder: Oh sure!

heheheh.. Im a happy man... weeeeeee!

For those of you who did not get to be there.... well...

Merlion Jump

A siao video of us at Raffles Place.



so everyone guessed currectly! We went to the big durian place and also visited the Merlion!

for whose who kept complaining that I nvr jump anymore.... here's the 3rd jump in a row.

we did all sorts of silly things.... but i got no time and space to post those photos.(maybe will put up next time)

so here's a group shot

didnt expect photo taken by an old aunty will turn out as good as this. lol.

we spent like 1 hour plus there... and finally we decided to leave that place...

grabbed this shot before we moved on to the MRT station.

We then took the train to Harbourfront cos we had to go to VivoCity for lunch and then see HEROES.

we had lunch at Carl's Jr. hehe... a lot cheaper in SG.

we were all so tired and hungry cos been walking and jumping and running n walking and snapping under the hot sun for about 5 hours already... not counting the sleepless night in the KTM train.

after eating... we walked around the mall...

and then it was time.... for.... the BIG event.... the purpose of our existence in Singapore on that day....

Raffles Place Jump

Singapore post continued.......

and so we went to our next destination...

where?

we came here. It's Singapore's business district. All the big big buildings with shiny glass windows are located here.

All the serious people come here....

All big business happens here....

All the big companies are here....

but suddenly came a group of siao people from KL....

some specky guy even jumped while holding a green umbrella... lol

the small gal in the big tv also got shocked.

then it started to rain a bit... so we packed our stuff and took a group shot before we left

this pic damn nice rite? ahaha (self praise a bit)

then we walked to our next destination.. which was around Boat Quay.

but halfway... we saw this big fish eye mirror outside the carpark.

so ... u know lah.. lol wat else.

a lil lub story from me.

then we walked samor... and finally arrived at out final photoshoot spot.

can anyone guess? haha.. guess la ok... give a bit face.

and we walked over to Bugis Junction and took damn a lot of pictures in the middle of the road. This was one of them. The smashpOp Jump. :D

wanted to go inside the mall... but it was tooo early. so we pose outside lo. hhaa

we then took the MRT to our next destination.

damn mafan lah. have to keep going back tothe machine to get 1 dollar refund.

Breakfast in Singapore

so we arrived at Singaproe at about 7am... then we took a cab to Outram MRT and from there we went to Bugis...

then we found this kopitiam and had breakfast there.

seriously.. that place not bad. The wantan noodle i had rox.

We finished eating and still sitting there cos we were supposed to meet this Singapore blogger, Herbert... he is a photographer too.

He was a bit late. So we flipped thru the newspapers and found Hiro n Mohinder Suresh on the newspaper.

we look like both of them kan? (say yes)

then Herbert came... we took fotos.. n began our street photography session.. cos basically there was nowhere to go at 8am in the morning.

i know what this things is for... but i dono what ERP stands for. Anyone care to enlighten me?

then we continued walking and saw this backlane with multicoloured staircases.. instantly.. everyone said "lets take picture here!"

and I posed.
