Back from Wireless Challenge

WOOOOOOOOOT! After 2 days of fun, excitement and tireness, the Nokia N82 Wireless Challenge finally ended. haha

It was a great experience as I get to meet a lot of new friends, exposing myself to those reality show race kinda thing...

and of course, the best thing... is to be able to get the N82 for free. lol

All in all, I think these 2 days were very satifying.. with all the good food that Nokia paid for... good hotel.... and very good treatment.

Ill post more photos tomoro! ahaha

Nokia Chicas!

ok so what else happened in the boat?

we were excited to see the boat moving towards the bridge... so we took another foto... of us.. n the bridge

hehe i like can?!

then there was slide presentations on the new services which will be launched soon.

... and the new phone models... which are going to be out this year.

Paul got a bit bored... so he took photos of me

and I caught him snapping me lol

by that time... we were hungry already...

food come fast fast can

starters.... prawns, squids, clams, crabs, mussels...

and main dish...

well, i thought it was a stage... but NO!

Damn cun damn cun..... seriously didnt expect this. :D

the dancers suddenly appeared and slowly leading us to the top floor of the boat to try out the upcoming phones... N96, N78, 6120 Navigator... etc etc

Showcase Nokia Dinner

HEY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

hope everyone feels fresh with the new April design. :D

Let me know what you guys think of it ok?

In the previous post, I mentioned that we had to rush for shower and get changed cos we had to attend the Showcase Nokia 2008 dinner.

We gathered at the hotel lobby at about 630pm(means about 330pm Malaysian time) and when all the media from around the world arrived, we took the bus to the harbour.

That's me....

and

these are the rest of the world. ahahhaha

We all talked and exchanged ideas on gadgets and had light snacks while waiting for the Nokia boat to arrive.

at about 730pm, the boat arrived and we all went onboard.

woot... all glass boat.! so cool can! (wanted to express my excitement that time... but had to stay cool... must hide my jakun-ness lol)

and once we got in, we were guided to our tables.

This is the front half of the boat.

before anything happened, we took photos first ahahahha

The lady in red is Nokia PR manager from Malaysia and the other one is WenDee, Senior Manager: Communications for SEAP, Japan and Korea Sales.

Then the event started by some speeches and new software introductions.

Hyde Park

ok let's continue our walk back from Darling Harbour bridge to the hotel can?

I think this is York Street if im not mistaken.. ahaha the road in the city towards my hotel..

before reaching our hotel, we detoured to Hyde Park... which was just across the road.

damn nice place... a lot of Sydney ppl go there for picnic.. relax or even do discussions and meetings among friends.

hello shadow!(wah it rhymes! lol)

a few more shots taken and we then left the park.

this time we r really heading back to the hotel.

In there, we did not have much things to do.. so we go online and update our blogs lor..

We love our MACs. Do you love your PC? lol kiddin.

We sat there for about 2 hours when we had to rush back to our hotel rooms respectively for shower and get changed... why?

well... you will know tomorrow :P

Last night I reached home damn late!!! which was wayyyyyyyyy past my "update blog time"...

so ive decided to continue my Sydney photos tonight.

for now... just random post la ok... oh wait... must put this banner first.

Sydney Jump

holla! its Monday again... so lets get back to our Sydney posts ok.

On the 2nd day in Sydney, we decided to go around the city by ourselves (me n Paul) and the first thing we did was to look for food. lol

we walked around and landed in this mall called TGV... see Paul Frank n MNG on the left? im sure Jen is happy to see these brands...

oh lunch! we sorta like walked to this place that looked like a food court that sells fast food and.. erm.. slower fast food.

I deciided to try Oporto... looks quite ok...

"It's just an ordinary chicken burger" Paul commented.

and guess how much was my set...

I just wasted 24 ringgit on a burger set! ahahahha another milestone in my life... must write diary first. :P

ok after eating, we walked around and we bought Krispy Kreme donuts!

jeng jeng jeng...

we tapau the donuts n coffee n walked out of the malls to Darling Harbour bridge.

and I jumped there

my first Sydney Jump! lol

and whats the nicest thing to happen at that moment?

The answer? .. Jumping on Sydney Darling Harbour bridge, eating Krispy Kreme Donut, drinking Krispy Kreme coffee, breathing Australian air.... all at the same time. :D

ok at about 1pm.... we walked back to the hotel.

As we mark the end of my fotos for DAY 1 Sydney, let's have some POPCRAPs! :D Today we have 3 of 'em.

Again, I found an interesting site to share with you guys. Lol

Its called eoe online.

If you like photo gallery, buy-sell features, and chances to win prizes… then this is the website for you. The first feature that I find interesting is the “Camera Gallery”. In there, I can read about cameras, compare them and even buy from there!

I think this site damn good lor… cos I can even print my photos there.. lol… maciam kedai serbaguna la this company. The price for printing 5R photos is only 50sen… and if u add up your purchases up to rm30, delivery is free! Fuah!

The trading corner allows us to buy and sell goods. If you are someone who likes to sell used goods…. Second hand gadgets… clothes .. and everything else, then this is another place for you to advertise!

Kings Cross, Baby!

ok we were supposed to meet at the hotel lobby at 630pm for dinner... but Paul and I went down earlier to take some photos.

Thanks PaulTan for taking this shot for me :D

and then we went out and walked across the street for some slow shutter shots... n also so take foto of the hotel.

at about 640pm... the rest of the gang came down to lobby and we took a cab to King's Cross Street to find food.

Another reason we went there was because we heard that the place got 'many THINGS to see' lol

anyways, we then decided to have Italian food at this very small restaurant... we sat at a table at the backyard kinda area.. which was quite cool.

the main dishes.... there were somemore food but i didnt take fotos of em.

and guess what... another RM1k spent for a meal. lol thanks Nokia.

after dinner, we took a stroll down King's Cross and we saw a book shop.

A book shop that sells.... 'unique' books.

... and many more... ahhaha

we continued walking and soon we were at the 'red light district'... sort off.

strip clubs and adult shops were all over!!!!!

ok I walked over to the other side of the harbour just cos i was wondering what was on the other side.

and then it was time to leave the harbour... cos was a bit bored of it already. lol...

and off I went... walking back to the city... to the hotel.

and at every junction, everyone has to look lleft.

and i reached my hotel!.. it was about 2pm... and dinner was at 630pm... so next post! Dinner and "night activites" .. lol

oh Paultan said he went back to take his dslr from the hotel and nvr came back to find me!... so all these while I was shooting alone. Sad can.
